In the Greek story The Odyssey, Helen is given a potion that can diminish all sorrows. The Pitcher Plant is also known as the Huntsman’s cup, and it’s from the genus nepenthe. Ne means not, and penthe means grief. The Pitcher Plant can cure the liver, stomach, and clogged kidneys. The Pitcher Plant is not only a trapper and a disposer but a healer as well!
