The Crown Jewels of England is a collection of many unique and beautiful heirlooms. In this collection are five swords. One sword is called the Jeweled Sword of Offering. There are diamonds, emeralds, and rubies arranged on the sword to represent the Thistle of Scotland, Shamrock of Ireland, and Rose of England. There is also one sword called the Sword of the State, which is the largest and oldest sword in the collection. The three other swords are the Sword of Temporal Justice, Sword of Spiritual Justice, and the Sword of Mercy. This collection is now locked in The Tower of London under heavy guard.

The biggest diamond is called the Mountain of light. There is another diamond called the Second Star of Africa. It sits on a crown with 2000 smaller diamonds and 277 pearls.

Another gem, a red ruby, has had many owners. First, King Peter murdered another king, so he could get the ruby then gave it to Edmund the black as a thank you gift. When Edmund died, his son Richard had it, then Henry IV stole it, and later it was put on the crown of Richard III. Finally, after a few more owners, it was mounted on the Crown of the State.

The End
