Sharks come in many shapes and are becoming endangered. It can scare people. Sharks has slits on the side of the body called gills. Gills are made so that sharks can breathe. When they swim, the water enters through the gills and it gets oxygen. They cannot stop swimming or else they cannot breathe. Because sharks have little jelly filled pores on the snout, they can feel the movement in the water. Whale sharks are the biggest sharks in the sea. Most of the sharks have teeth to chew food, but some sharks don’t. Some surfers, who look like seals, gets attacked by sharks. Sharks are found in almost every ocean. Some beach shores have shark teeth. It can be collected and made into necklaces. Lonely surfers like these necklaces even though some sharks eat them.
