IEW Lesson 20-Adolf Hitler

When Hitler became chancellor, he started changing Germany immediately. He started with the Enabling Act which could give him infinite power for 4 years. He also took away the freedom of the German citizens. The German Police could walk into any house to search and arrest without permit. Hitler planned to change the curriculum of the schools, making it updated to Nazi Education. Hitler also made the Gestapo Secret Police Force who spied on everyone and whoever said anything against the Nazi or Hitler were to be arrested. Because Germany attacked Poland in 1939, WORLD WAR II started.
