Mongol children do not go to school. Instead of reading and writing, they learned to ride horses at the age of 5. The boys happily mend saddles, bows and arrows, and milk mares, which was a hard thing to do. The girls, on the other hand, restore tents, cook, and milk cows and goats. They love to hear stories about adventures on the steppes because it was an interesting story.
