IEW 2 Lesson 22-Hoaxes Are Powerless

Unicorns have abounded in literature for thousands of years. Either if it was fact or fiction, it was passed down. Literature loves the unicorn. The unicorn’s horn is called an Alicorn in the medieval times, and it was believed to be a cure to different ailments. There were dishonest salesmen and used other horns instead of the Alicorn. King James I of England bought and tested it on a servant. The servant drank poison and Alicorn powder. The servant died. After more testing it was proved to be a hoax, and the Alicorn powder was powerless.
