Lewis’s use of imagery to describe the stars coming home was remarkable. Stars do not “rain,” yet Lewis writes “the rain of stars.” He writes a bunch more imageries like “showers of glittering people” and “long hair burning like silver.” Because Lewis uses imageries, we can visualize what is happening in the story.
