IEW Lesson 27-Proud Bree

Writer's picture: Dan GochuicoDan Gochuico

Bree is a warhorse from Narnia. His full name is Breehy-hinny-brinny-hoohy-hah, but I will call him Bree for short. His mother warned him not to venture out of Archenland. But Bree was proud and disobedient.

He ventured out of Archenland and into the Calormen. Because he disobeyed his mommy, he was captured and sold to the great Tarkaan Anradin. Good thing Bree was smart and pretend to be a dumb horse. The bible says:

Proverbs 16:18 New Living Translation (NLT)

18 Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.

8 My child,[a] listen when your father corrects you. Don’t neglect your mother’s instruction.
