Mozart

In 1781, Salzburg, Austria, there was a child named Mozart(Mote-zart). His full name was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. His father was a very famous violin player, named Leopold Mozart. He had a sister named Maria Anna, and her nickname was Nannerl. She mastered the harpsichord at age 8.

Mozart started learning music at age 4. At age 5, he started performing, and at age 6 he started composing. Because he loved music so much, that he played all by himself without anyone telling him to. My mommy wished that I could have this discipline with my violin too. His father was his best music teacher. He played music by Bach and Handel. He also played for King George the III in London! Mozart was only age 12 when he wrote his 1st opera. In his childhood, he had toured Europe – Munich, Vienna, Paris, London, Rome, Milan.

Over time, Mozart was able to beat his elder sister in playing the harpsichord. The ladies in the court and Maria Teresa lavished him with gifts. But when he turned 18, he lost all the fame. When he returned to Salzburg, he was treated like he was just an ordinary person. He and his mother traveled to Paris, and Mozart was able to discover the newly invented piano there. Sadly, while they were there, his mother died.

In 1781, when Mozart was 25, he went to Vienna and married Constance Weber, who was a big spender. That made Mozart deep in debt. He made himself a freelance player. A freelance player plays music wherever Mozart wants, and whenever he wants. Because music came from his head, instead of composing music on the piano, he composed music on a table. He composed 2 famous operas, which are The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni. His 3 best symphonies are No. 39, 40, 41. He also composed specific works for the Keyboard, Violin, and Clarinet.

One day, a person asked Mozart to compose a Requiem (roman catholic mass for the dead). But Mozart died before he was able to finish it.

In December 1791, when Mozart was only 35 years old, he died. There was a lot of theories of his death. Death by poison, rheumatic fever, Antonio Salieri as murderer (in play), but there is no substantial evidence, it was just another conspiracy theory. He was a successful composer but miserable in life-immature, boastfully annoying, proud.
