Robin Hood

Around 1269 in Huntington, England, there lived an adventurous Earl named Robert or better known as Robin Hood. He was a kindhearted nobleman and a first-class archer. He always wore green and his best friend was Little John. Because they were considered outlaws, they made Sherwood Forest their hideout. Although an outlaw, he defended Richard the Lionhearted from his malevolent brother, King John.

Sadly, the Feudal System was breaking down. King John, who was crowned King when Richard the Lionhearted was presumed dead, overtaxed peasants to get more money. Because of this, the poor is getting poorer and the rich is getting richer. Blatant corruption occurred in the upper class.

Robin deliberately stole money from the rich and gave it to the poor. He disguised himself as one of the defenders so he can dash in the castle. King John teamed up with the Sherriff of Nottingham, who was corrupt, greedy, and selfish, to kill Robin Hood. Robin hid in the forest to ambush the Sherriff of Nottingham. When the Sherriff and his army were in the middle of the forest, a rain of arrows shot the sheriff’s soldiers. The outlaws came out of the bushes, down the trees, and fought with the rest of the sheriff’s men. As the caravan was surrounded, they captured the sheriff and they won!!
